buzzing quizzes

buzzed by these afternoon quizzes:

" Which kind of thing stands for power?? "
" Which kind of thing stands for passion?? "

question one is the easy one...

"Pyramid"

Yep, pyramid does stand for POWER!!
You need bunch of people to pile rocks into such huge size...
which does take power, isn't it??

question two is the buzzing one...

New York was the answer.

but, not quite right after second thought...

Yes, i do think NY is a city of passion, the passion to stand, to be top, to beyond... But, it also stands as the result of power. Just as pyramid, which took tones of time and weight to realize the passion to reach the gateway of afterlife. All those high-rises ozone pokers in New York are also the results of both passion and power.

but, is there any passion can be realized without power? i know the original question is not about how things can stand for passion and power-free... But the power attached relationship still buzzes me a lot...

After second thought, well, more than second...
If anything can stand purely for passion, anything but passion...

"Idea"
should be the one...

It's really hard to realize something physically existed without weight. Even something is purely passion oriented.. After all, weight is power, physically and metaphorically.

Unlike pyramid, an idea of standing can be purely driven by passion, impulse, or... something irrational. (even stupid ideas are also driven by passion. Well, kind of... )
But what really makes passion stand is the power of action.

So, the responses for both questions should be rephrased...

" Idea stands for passion. "
" Action stands for power. "

After all, idea stands on action.
